Scholars' Education Trust Reaches Significant Milestone

Posted on 01/02/2024

Scholars’ Education Trust reaches significant milestone. The Board of Trustees at Scholars' Education Trust is delighted to announce the addition of Chaulden Infants' and Chaulden Junior Schools, in Hemel Hempstead, to its expanding multi-academy trust. This development represents a momentous achievement for SET, as the two schools will take the trust to over 10 schools for the first time, when they join on February 1st 2024.

Since its inception, SET has grown to encompass a range of schools, and the Trust Board are particularly pleased that the addition of the Chaulden schools will add to its offer for younger pupils, joining existing primary schools Harpenden Academy and Buntingford First School. The Trust currently provides an exceptional education to over 8,500 children between the ages of 3 and 18 across Hertfordshire and Central Beds. Although each school maintains its unique identity, SET’s central values of Achievement, Care and Excellence are shared amongst all of their schools, and the Trust believe that by working closely together at all levels, they can help students achieve more than they ever imagined possible.

"We are excited to welcome Chaulden Infants’ and Chaulden Junior Schools as the most recent additions to the Scholars' Education Trust. We look forward to working with the staff, children and parents at both schools to ensure that pupils receive the very highest quality of education possible."

Claire Robins OBE, Chief Executive Officer of Scholars' Education Trust
