Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition

Yr 10 DofELast weekend, four of our amazing Year 10 students achieved their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award.

Paige, Lilly, Molly and Elena went to Herts Young People's Centre to sign up to take on this challenge, where they spent hours volunteering within the local community, each learning new skills and taking up hours of sports to work towards their Bronze award.

To complete the Duke of Edinburgh award, the girls undertook a whole day’s training followed by a two day expedition. Over this period the girls walked over 42k/ 26 miles and even set up camp for an overnight stay.

We are very proud of these girls as it a physically and mentally hard award to achieve.
