West Herts Hospital Diabetes Winner

Diabetes1Well done to Savannah from Longdean School for entering and winning a logo competition for West Herts Hospital  Diabetes Service

The paediatric diabetes team at West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, which manages Hemel Hempstead, Watford General and St Albans City hospitals, invited young patients to design a playful logo for their team. The competition gave the patients a fun opportunity to showcase their creativity and connect with their care team in a new way.

The team was thrilled to receive many fabulous designs from their young creative patients, and after careful consideration, Savannah was picked as the winner. For her clever and colourful design which features jungle animals wearing sensors and insulin pump devices.

Savannah incorporated jungle animals into the team’s name in a way that was both imaginative and meaningful.
