Local Football Club Inspires Young KS2 Girls with Training Session

KS2 girls from a Buntingford First School had the chance to shine on the pitch, thanks to a special training session hosted by Laura from Royston Town Football Club. Designed for Key Stage 2 students, the event aimed to encourage participation, build confidence, and teach valuable teamwork skills.

The young players received expert guidance from the club, learning drills, techniques, and tactical insights.The session not only sparked excitement amongst the budding athletes but also celebrated the importance of empowering girls in sports.

Parents and teachers alike praised the initiative, calling it a wonderful way to nurture talent and promote healthy lifestyles. As one participant shared, "I loved learning new skills today. It was so much fun!"

From cheers to goals, this training day was a triumph both on and off the field!
