Harpenden Academy Facelift
Posted on 13/11/2024Harpenden Academy has recently brightened its premises with an innovative addition: new window wraps adorned with playful silhouettes of children. The project, aimed at enhancing the school's aesthetic while fostering a creative and welcoming environment, has been met with enthusiastic approval from students, staff, and parents alike.
Headteacher Mrs Lisa Davies highlighted the significance of the installation, stating, "The window wraps not only bring a vibrant and cheerful look to our classrooms but also serve as a symbol of the imagination and joy that children bring to our school."
The silhouettes, designed by OuttaReach, depict children engaged in various activities such as reading, playing, and exploring, reflecting the school's commitment to nurturing curiosity and learning through diverse experiences. The wraps have been placed on windows around the school facade, transforming the once plain glass panes into dynamic canvases that inspire and captivate.
Parents have praised the initiative, noting that the new designs add a sense of warmth and creativity to the school environment. "It's wonderful to see the children represented in such an artistic way. The window wraps make the school feel even more welcoming and lively," commented one parent.
The installation of these artistic window wraps is part of the school's continuing effort to create an engaging and supportive atmosphere for students, ensuring that the school remains a place where education and creativity flourish hand in hand.
