International Visitors to our Apple Distinguished School

Posted on 30/01/2025

We were thrilled to be selected as an Apple Distinguished School to welcome 70 international visitors from Hong Kong and France, including educators, school leaders, and government representatives. These guests spent the day with us, observing how we integrate digital technology into our school environment.

They had the opportunity to see first-hand how technology supports teaching and learning, with a particular focus on the fusion of digital tools and oracy. During the visit, we showcased the ways in which Apple technology enhances learning, including the use of Augmented Reality and Coding. We also demonstrated how these technologies prepare our students for the future and contribute to improved academic outcomes. The event was a resounding success, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from our visitors.

Our Digital Leaders played a key role, leading a ‘marketplace’ event where they proudly shared their favourite applications and highlighted different elements of the technology used in our classrooms.
